GREETINGS!

Well..what do you know...I forgot to post the homework/assignment again! Anyways, do not worry about it anymore, and to those who did worry about it...I AM TERRIBLY SORRY! In fairness, since it was my bad, you all get credit, automatically, for the homework assignment I was supposed to have given you. And special mention goes out to ENDELE for text messaging me about it...I was out having dinner with someone and I could not do anything about it when I got your message...with apologies...!

If any of you from my homeroom can get hold of the following people, can you please have them call me on my mobile phone...thank you so much! They are TONY, PONG, JOJO, JOYCE, GOLF, and PING-PING. I need to talk to these people tonight, Thursday evening, 02 October 2008...that is, if they are still awake! Thanks...CIAO!!!

ONLY FOR ENGLISH 9C CLASS...!

TO ALL MY ENGLISH 9C STUDENTS...

Here's your blog in connection with our story "The Wizard of OZ"...!

"Why does the Wizard behave the way he does? Do you think his behavior and attitude is acceptable? Do you think it was fair of him to have asked the four friends to go and kill the Wicked Witch of the West? What was his motive in doing so anyways? Is he really a good man but a bad wizard? Why?"

That's All Folks!!! I will be collecting your answers to this on an A4/F12/DS/TNR on Friday, 05 September 2008. Snacky-poos on Friday for our movie viewing session. Be good and study well...CIAO!!!

TO ALL INCOMING GRADE 9 LITERATURE STUDENTS...

GREETINGS!

Before anything else...my apologies for the delayed posting of this blog...I just got hold of my internet access this evening...!

Most probably, you have alreeady been able to get hold of the three stories I asked you to read over the summer...Of Mice and Men, Lord Of The Flies, and A Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy...! I would like you to add a fourth book to this list, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.

To clarify again, I expect you and require you to have two postings per week regarding these four stories! I will have questions for you to answer. However, in addition to answering those questions, do not hesitate to ask your own questions as well if you have any regarding the story you are reading at the moment. Also, you are most free to share the blogs with others who have no access to computers over the summer and are simply doing notebook/diary blogging in case they ask you for help and assistance on topics to write about.

I will try my best to post at the most, two blogs per week...however, oftentimes, I am certain that I might be able to post only one, which means that if I am unable to post a second blog, then your second posting for the week is a free topic regarding the story. By the end of the summer, you must have finished reading all four books already for I will be testing you on it during our first day back in August!

Here's my first question for you to respond to regardless of what story you are reading at the moment...

"Who are the characters that have been so far introduced to you at this point and what do you personally think of each of them in terms of their behavior and motivations...?"

Today is Monday, 23 June 2008. You have until Thursday, 26 June 2008, to post your response to this question. After which, I will close access to this blog and post my next question by 12 midnight. This will mean that you will no longer be able to post anything on this question by that time.

Take care all of you...and study well...but most of all...ENJOY YOUR SUMMER BREAK! God Bless! CIAO!!!

TO ALL INCOMING GRADE 9 STUDENTS...

GREETINGS!

Today marks the first day of the rest of your life in my class...welcome! First things first...I expect you to find any one of these books over the summer and dialogue with me through this blog site...Of Mice and Men, Lord of the Flies, and/or A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I will have a weekly question posted for these books that I EXPECT you to answer and respond to. This is not an optional thing...it means that YOU MUST have read at least two of these books if not all three by the time we get back to school in August.

I will start posting on Tuesday, 17 June 2008...you have an entire week to respond to whatever is posted, then I will have another question again the following week and close access to the first question I posted...and so on and so forth.

That's All Folks! Have a great summer break and start preparing for my class next year...in case you intend to survive! Take care and be safe always...CIAO!!!
